Technovation 2014

Welcome to Technovation 2014!

We’re very excited to work with you this year. Here are a few steps to help you get started:

Register Your Team

You’ve already registered to participate as an individual, but we also need your team to register together. Once you have assembled a complete Technovation team (up to 5 girls, 1 mentor, 1 teacher) please take a moment and let us know who you are! Once you Register Your Team and the season begins, we will showcase you on the Technovation website.

If you don’t have a mentor for your team yet, you can Apply for a Virtual Mentor before you submit your team registration. Most of our virtual mentors are female technology professionals from technology companies in Silicon Valley and meet with their teams weekly via video chat.

Browse the Curriculum and Forums

Take a look at the 2014 Technovation Curriculum and ask questions and interact with the Technovation community through the 2014 Technovation Forum. By sharing your Technovation experience, together we can change the face of Computer Science!

Share on Social Media and We'll Share Your Progress, Too

Share photos and updates of your Technovation progress and we’ll help spread the word about your apps! You can also chat with us on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and LinkedIn. We love to hear what you are up to! #Technovation2014

Example post: I’m joining @Technovation to learn to code and use technology to make my community a better place! #GirlsInTech

Got Questions?

Visit the FAQ or look at our Resources to learn more. You can also talk with us and the Technovation community every Thursday at 1pm PST / 4pm EST via Google Hangouts. Use this time to ask questions, share best practices, and learn.

Thanks again for signing on. We look forward to a fantastic season.

Good luck!
